Hey Everyone!
I will be working on the review and recap for both new episodes later this week… make sure to check back!
Also, for those of you who missed either of the shows, ABC.com allows you to watch them online. You can use this link to take you to their web player.

I re-arranged my life to see tonight’s episode - it was posted on the listings website at 8:00, then when I tuned in at 20:00 it wasn’t there !!!!!
I am a total fan and feel totally let down. If they are going to promote a program, it is a responsibility to deliver. Very annoyed and have low opinion of abc.
What is the point of being a fan of an unreliable source???
sorry, typo, the 20:00 was supposed to be 10:00.
I AM JUST LOVING MEN IN TREES. HAVE PROMOTED IT TO MANY OF MY
FRIENDS ACROSS THE COUNTRY AS WELL. DVR THE PROGRAMS WHEN
UNABLE TO BE HOME ON FRIDAY EVENINGS. WISH IT COULD BE ON DURING THE WEEK
ACTUALLY.
WE HAD A ROUGH AND SURPRISED SNOW STORM HERE IN BUFFALO, NY LAST OCT 13TH.
GUESS WHAT ? I HAD MEN IN TREES TOO !!! THEY CAME TO CUT DOWN ALL THE MANY TREES THAN FELL FROM THAT STORM. THEY INFACT NEVER HEARD OF THE PROGRAM, BUT WAS GOING TO WATCH IT TOO ! I CALLED THEM MY MEN IN TREES.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WRITTING AND ACTING.
TONS OF FUN PROGRAM !!! A REAL FAN HERE !!!
MIT is changing times starting Nov 2… was 10 pm now it will be on at 8 pm
Isn’t that great! Love this show
yes, they could have MIT scheduled for weeknights…. and i have been staying home or at least rushing to go home on a Friday night just to catch up my favourite show
I just started to watch the show this season, and enjoy watching the relationships develop {or fall apart}. I was aggravated with last night’s episode because of the gay story line. I am not gay, but if I was, I would have found it silly and demeaning. Can’t the writers portray the characters without turning them into such bad stereotypes. I enjoyed the rest of the show, but the writers need to fix the two gay characters if they are going to be continuing characters. Let them be real people!
I’m a HUGE MIT fan!! I absolutely LOVE Marin & Jack! I hope they get back together real soon! Can’t wait for Friday’s episode! So glad they moved it to 8:00!
Hey did the show get cancelled? I dont’ see it.
It’s on 8 pm tonight. Looking very forward to it.
I agree this is an excellent show!
Its not cancelled. ABC moved it to 8.
What has happened to Men In Trees? My station has preemptied it the last two weeks (11/2 & 11/9) for 20/20. I want my Men in Trees back !!!!! Am I missing something?
Hi M.I.T fans! Great fan site you have here!! Bravo!
This is Michael Tiernan checking in - I’m a singer/songwriter based in Southern California. I wrote and performed one of the songs featured during the upcoming episode. I know you’re gonna dig this next episode - especially during a couple KEY scenes (I wish I could tell you what they were about!!!), they’ll be playing my song “I’m Ready”. I’m putting up a special page on my website w/ a live video performance of the song. I’ll also provide links to where you can download the song and/or album its on!
I’d love to hear what you think of the song after you hear it - so feel free to drop me a line, especially after the show airs, and let me know what you think! The special link is http://www.tiernantunes.com/menintrees . Drop by and say hello! You can also email me at michael@tiernantunes.com
Thanks so much! Enjoy your week and you’ll be hearing me Friday night!
Peace,
Michael Tiernan

I love Men in Trees. I especiall love the characters of Marin, Jack and CASH! WOW, I’m always disappointed when Cash isn’t on. I would like to see these characters become more predominant…..less Mia, Annie, Patrick. I’m hoping they write them out of the script. Their characters are so stupid. Is that really necessary? I think the writers shut down before the strike.
So, I copied and pasted this message from Jenny into my email and sent it to a friend who was having trouble loading the MIT site onto her computer!
Well, it’s a good thing I did, because ABC took down the blog that Jenny wrote to us regarding the strike. Here it is folks!
Fear Not, Tree Huggers
If you are reading this, all television writers are on strike. That means us here at Men In Trees as well. But please do not panic. We have written blogs in advance (including this one) so you will have lots of fun stuff to read along the way and most importantly, we have plenty of new episodes to tide you over until we come back to work.
So, please keep coming back. Write to us. We read everything. More than ever we need to hear your voices…and so does ABC.
Jenny
Found this on Anne’s site!

Hello Treehuggers!
As I’m sure you all know by now our beloved writers are on strike and
we here in Elmo miss them very much. What that means for those who
read the blogs is that I, Anne Heche, will have to do the honors. I
may not be as funny or as clever, but I wanted to reach out and tell
you a bit of what’s going on. If you do not know the details of the
strike, I encourage you to go on You Tube and get the details from the
Writers Guild, they have done a great job of putting their point of
view into language that we, or I, can at least understand. So let me
say this to you and to them: I completely support everything that the
writers are striking for. They are asking for participation in profits
that I feel are fair and well deserved. After all, without writers we
would not have TV shows to act in, movies to watch, Soaps to weep over
or Late Night jokes to keep up from our sleep. So there you have it. I
hope you support all of the writers in whatever way you can and keep
your fingers crossed that this strike will end quickly. Many people
are losing their jobs and others live in the fear that they may be
next. Our hearts send good energy and hopes for a peaceful conclusion
to all involved.
So now we get to Men In Trees. What’s happening here? Well, our great
leader, Jenny Bicks, thought ahead and cared for us, the talent and
crew of Trees and for you our fans and wrote five shows that we can
shoot even though the strike is going on. So we, unlike most shows,
are still shooting our little (now freezing cold) tails off. We are
very fortunate to be in this position. We will have enough shows to
carry us through our winter break. So new shows will continue to be on
the air! Go Jenny! She and our team of writers really are amazing to
have been able to accomplish this task and we are very grateful.
Thanks to all of them, we are now way ahead of you in what you are
seeing on the air, and I can say there are many surprises ahead.
By now you have most certainly been devastated over the Patrick
disaster. Let me tell you, it doesn’t get any better, for him anyway.
Sorrow has taken over his bride to be and his mother. Marin is missing
Jack terribly and has to find things to do and men to warm by. (Oh no!
Jack come back!) Someone gets sick, someone wants to have a baby,
someone gets addicted (maybe more than one) a prayer meeting gets held
(in the most inappropriate of places, people want to have sex (who
doesn’t?) and more hunks arrive in Elmo to stir the pot and wreak
havoc on our sweet town. So keep watching and keep praying or omming
or chanting, whatever you can do to help and heal the strike, we want
all our families, both imagined and real, to continue working and
thriving and being treated with the respect and kindness they deserve.
Peace and love,
Anne Heche
Love Men in Trees, HATED the wolf episode! This is not correct behavior for wolves, and so many, many people have worked hard to protect them, and let people know about them, and then a major network allows a writer to put this nonsense in the story line. Other bits have good biology in them.
They are seldom seen by people, when they are close by, they are probably after your pets, horses, etc, not you. They are not known for regularly killing humans! Although humans certainly slaughtered them almost completely out of the US! Until the 70s, there was a bounty, and in many places, including Canada, they regularly left poisoned carcasses out, to kill them by the dozens. The US now has a very few in the lower 48, and a population in Alaska, although Canada has more.
No more ecological damage by thoughtless writing, please!
I’m your biggest Canadian fan. Unfortunately, I missed Friday night’s episode (Nov. 16) because of TV scheduling and I was wondering if I can view the episode somewhere. ABC.com doesn’t allow Canadian viewers to view the full episodes on their Web site. Why is that???
Wow do you ever update this site???
Anne H did the blog over at abc.com this last week due to the writers strike.
Love the show but this site has little to be desired with no current updates to view
I have fallen in love with Anne Heche’s red coat. My children want to get me something special that I can “use” for Christmas. Does anyone out there have any idea where her coat is from ? Thank you so much in advance. Susie
I attempted to tape part 2 last Friday night when Marin was surrounded by wolves. I was going to be performing in a show and couldn’t be home. It did not tape so I have no idea who saved her and the cat.
When I check out the site you mention, it reads that only USA folks can watch the episodes. The show is filmed in Vancouver BC Canada and yet only USA folks can watch it on the site (?)
Can anyone tlll me please who saved Marin and the cat?
I love the music that is played on MIT and wondered if I could get the names and atrists of songs played. One in paticular for exaple is on tonights episode at the end of the show ‘Sea Change”. it something like…”nothing back here at home is right except you being here with me….? How can we see of get copys of the show soundtracks from this season?
Thank you, JiLL
I adore this show and there is a huge fan following on the website on ABC.com. The characters are inspiring to watch and the whole of the show leaves you feeling so good and ready for the next week. Not to mention plenty of eye candy!!! MIT you rock.
I will not watch ABC if they takeoff men is trees
